Trick-or-Treating at the Mall

We had a great Halloween trick-or-treating at the mall. Arthur was the Cowardly Lion, Betty was the Wicked Witch of the West, and Coraline was Dorothy (carrying Toto!)

Pumpkin Carving!

Today we finally got around to carving Nana and Pop Pop's pumpkin. The kids didn't want to handle much of the gooey interior, but they did enjoy using the large spoons to scoop out the seeds from inside.

Trip to Aunt Heather and Uncle Tristan's

Yesterday we drove up to Aunt Heather and Uncle Tristan's new house, for a marathon adventure of painting, cleaning, packing, and moving, as we helped them move from their new apartment into their new house. This was one of the few roadtrips we took with the kids without them sleeping the whole trip, so they spent the time reading, watching Winnie the Pooh, and playing with glow-in-the-dark bracelets.

The Convertible

Coraline showed Arthur this trick. She took the small bears, and found they could fit in (and drive) the toy convertible car. And of course, even though the top was down, you have to first open up the doors before putting the bears inside.

Cousin Rachel

Second Cousin Rachel stopped by for a quick visit, and the kids loved having her read and play with them. We also put up new magnets on the fridge to have them start learning their letters. Pop Pop spelled out each of the kids names. So the first thing Arthur did, upon seeing them, was to say "That's my letter!" and promptly took all of the A's from everyone's names.

Oh, and we noticed that Coraline got in two more of her molars.

The Drummer

The kids have recently been watching a new Sesame Street video featuring the musicians from Stomp. Evidently Arthur has picked up a few new tricks from them.
