Art Museum Visit

We took the kids to their first art museum, in Richmond. They enjoyed looking at some examples of modern art.

We then took them to the visiting Egypt exhibit, where they watched a 3D film about mummies.

Sledding

Finally, we had enough snow to actually go sledding.

And Betty, of course, loves to eat fresh snow!

Buffalo Mountain

We took the kids on a hike up to the top of Buffalo Mountain in Floyd.

We had a lot of fun getting to the top, but boy it was windy up there!

After none of them actually blew off the mountain, we then had a nice picnic lunch.

A Light Snow

The triplets left their marks after a light snowfall this morning.

Cora's Collection

Taking a page from her father, Coraline has started her own collection. She decided she's going to collect nutcrackers.

Star-gazing

We've started showing the kids the stars and planets at night, using an 11" telescope. Even though it's very cold, they enjoy seeing the sights.
