Happy Early Birthday!

We decided to celebrate the triplets' third birthday a few days early, so that their cousins and other family members could visit during the weekend. Everyone was excited about the Thomas the Train cake Erin made from scratch




After cake, we opened up presents. The kids were eager to try out their new fishing poles from Grandma and Grandpa!

Story time With Arthur

This is one of a few books that Arthur has memorized. Another favorite that the kids love to read is "In the Night Kitchen." I'll try to get it on video as well.

Making Frosting

Today the kids helped Erin mix up some different colors of frosting, to eventually be used on their birthday cake.

Letters

We've been working on learning letters. Here's a stick-project the kids created. I think this is an H and an A (or a house). Arthur has completely mastered writing an "A," and Coraline can draw a great backwards "C."

Disney World

Even though the heat index was 104.5 degrees, we ended up having a lot of fun today! The highlight for the kids was meeting Snow White.

Relaxing Day

Today we had a relaxing morning, and then at naptime we drove over to Orlando.

Playing at the Beach

First thing this morning, we all walked down to the beach. We found some nice shells, watched the seagulls, and looked at the fish in the water.


And then in the afternoon we hit the pool again.

Fun at the Pool

This morning we went to our condo's pool for some fun.


The kids quickly felt at ease in the pool, and with Arthur's lead, soon everyone was jumping in on their own. Arthur though, became an expert at this, and probably jumped in 30 times today.

And then, of course, we hit the beach for some more fun.

Summer Vacation

Last night we all loaded up in the car, and headed to Florida for our first real vacation. We drove through the night, and got in at 6am. After breakfast, we hit the beach.

We then had fun playing with Great-Grandma, who we hadn't seen in a few years.

Uncle Matt Visits

The kids had fun with Uncle Matt today, and enjoyed dancing to his guitar.

Cow Appreciation Day

The kids made cow masks today to get free sandwiches at Chick-fil-A.

Our First Movie

Today we took the kids to their first movie at the movie theatre - Muppets from Space! We brought popcorn from home, and peanut butter sandwiches, and everyone had fun.

Arthur's Pictures

We found the kids a cheap digital camera at a garage sale, and Arthur has embraced it as his own. Looking through his photos, it's neat to see the perspective of a two-year old.





And Arthur told me, "I took a picture of Daddy's bum."

Happy Fourth of July

Pandapas Pond and Fireworks

We took the triplets and their cousins to Pandapas Pond today for a picnic and a hike. The kids tried out their new camera, and took some pictures of the ducks.



Then we all had fun playing with little snappers - the only safe fireworks I could find for the kids. Everyone had their own designated circle to stand in.

Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!

We picked up a Buzz Lightyear costume at a garage sale today. Everyone loved taking turns wearing it.
